OMS: Coming Soon! Automated Property Valuation Reports (in the Cloud!)

automated-property-valuation-reportWe are proud to announce that you will soon be able to produce industry best Automated Property Valuation Reports in the OMS.

The Automated Valuation Report produced a fair market value of a property anywhere in South Africa using an advanced statistical model.  Users in the OMS will be able to search on a number of criteria to locate a specific property including address or owner details like an ID number.

 

Details included in this report includes amongst others:

- Property details (title deed number, address, erf details etc)

- Owner details (as per the Deeds registry)

- Valuation details (including last sale price and date, estimate value etc)

- Municipal Valuation details (including assessed rates and zoning)

- Satellite aerial image showing location of property and 20 most recent comparable sales

The beauty of this is that the reports will branded in your company logo & name and will be saved indefinitely in the OMS for your office for easy access. Since the OMS is online, your whole office can easily get access to this, anytime & anywhere with all the reports securely saved in our Cloud infrastructure. If a valuation was done on a new listing, that valuation report will be linked to that property. Since you don’t ever need to delete any listings in the OMS (including sold, expired and inactive listings) the report will never be lost.

Property24 acquires Private Property, what do estate agents think?

Property24.com, South Africa’s largest property portal owned by Naspers, has bought rival Private Property . The deal is likely to come under the close scrutiny of competition authorities as it involves the two biggest property portals in the country. Due to the impact of such an acquisition on the industry, Entegral was interested to find out what the perceived advantages and disadvantages of such a deal would be, both through the eyes of the consumer and the estate agent.   Here are the results from around 250 responses received on a survey done over a 2 day period , mostly from agents and agency owners. While the survey presents a small portion of the market (a ccording to the EAAB's latest annual report there are 19,424 registered agents and agency owners, excluding intern estate agents, in South Africa) , f eedback has been received from well-respected agency owners and agents, and we believe this gives a good indication of the current view of agents. US trends show more buyers come from internet, less from print

What’s even more interesting is that print newspaper hardly makes an impact, a mere 3% of buyers found their home through print.
