New mobile websites prove to be very popular amongst estate agents.

Two weeks ago we launched a new and improved mobile offering to our clients. Basically we upgraded the look and functionality of our old mobile websites.  We've been setting up mobile websites one after the other ever since!

We created a template layout that is easily transformable and can be edited to accommodate any kind of branding.  It has the basics needed for a mobile website so that your visitors can easily find properties for sale or to rent near their location or by means of a drill down search function. Your own domain or website address is used so that you alone benefit from the traffic generated.  When someone searches for you on their smart phones, they will automatically be routed to your mobi site but will still have the option of going to your desktop site too should they wish to.



Both www.huurkor.co.za and www.aidahartbeespoort.co.za can be entered in to a smart phones' browser and the mobi version of their website will automatically open and enable the visitor to start searching for property right away. 

It's easy to set up and a very cost effective solution to have your real estate agency be made user friendly on these kind of devices.  Apart from having a user friendly interface, any article with credible statistics on where traffic gets generated from the most in recent times will show that traffic from mobile devices are on the rise.

Property24 acquires Private Property, what do estate agents think?

Property24.com, South Africa’s largest property portal owned by Naspers, has bought rival Private Property . The deal is likely to come under the close scrutiny of competition authorities as it involves the two biggest property portals in the country. Due to the impact of such an acquisition on the industry, Entegral was interested to find out what the perceived advantages and disadvantages of such a deal would be, both through the eyes of the consumer and the estate agent.   Here are the results from around 250 responses received on a survey done over a 2 day period , mostly from agents and agency owners. US trends show more buyers come from internet, less from print

Where home buyers found the home they purchased- 2001 vs. 2008   Have a look at the very interesting figures published for USA home buyers on: http://rismedia.com/2009-03-29/buyers-becoming-more-successful-finding-homes-through-internet/   The NAR statistics show that 7 years on from 2001, 32% of home buyers found their home through the internet. What’s even more interesting is that print newspaper hardly makes an impact, a mere 3% of buyers found their home through print.
