Flex – improved Facebook share

With the newly launched Flex real estate website platform, we will be posting improvements, new functionality and new real estate themes through this blog.

The first improvement is on the Facebook Share button on property details. You can now choose which photo to feature (left/right arrows on photo) while the description and title is now more descriptive.

Like before, you can furthermore personalise your post with something personalised like “Just listed in Krugersdorp – priced right to sell soon” to get the attention.

Property24 acquires Private Property, what do estate agents think?

Property24.com, South Africa’s largest property portal owned by Naspers, has bought rival Private Property . The deal is likely to come under the close scrutiny of competition authorities as it involves the two biggest property portals in the country. Due to the impact of such an acquisition on the industry, Entegral was interested to find out what the perceived advantages and disadvantages of such a deal would be, both through the eyes of the consumer and the estate agent.   Here are the results from around 250 responses received on a survey done over a 2 day period , mostly from agents and agency owners. Sync API update: Property24 parking fields

For clients using the Sync listing syndication API , you can now add a parking description on Property24 listings for covered and open parking bays as follows: https://sync2.docs.apiary.io/#reference/listings/listing-collection/create-or-update-listing propertyFeatures field: include a 'Covered Parking' or 'Open Parking' feature as part of your comma separated list of features.  The feature is also available to OMS and Base clients.
