Interactive Google Maps - Make them work for you

If you are already a proud owner of a Flex Agent, Office or National website or if you are thinking about upgrading your current website you will undoubtedly be aware of the benefits of having a responsive website.


But did you know that you can further enhance your website to make it even easier for people to find your listings in certain areas?

This is where our cutting edge interactive maps come in - these maps allows for visitors to pan around and zoom into suburbs to view listings, with map markers indicating the suburbs where you have listings.

Your listings will now be able to show up on these maps, giving visitors a breakdown of rental or for sale listings you have in an area and allow them to quickly view these properties.

Our interactive maps are powered by Google and will also allow your potential clients to get a general layout of the area in which the listing is situated, which allows them to assess whether the neighbourhood suits their lifestyle.

The interactive suburb maps can be activated for any existing or new Flex powered website for R499 ex VAT. This includes:

  • A link in your website menu, e.g. “suburb map.”
  • Replacing one of your existing banners on your home page linking to the map page.
  • Inserting links to the map page on any of your content pages.
  • Setting a preferred default zoom level and location of the map for visitors.

Property24 acquires Private Property, what do estate agents think?

Property24.com, South Africa’s largest property portal owned by Naspers, has bought rival Private Property . The deal is likely to come under the close scrutiny of competition authorities as it involves the two biggest property portals in the country. Due to the impact of such an acquisition on the industry, Entegral was interested to find out what the perceived advantages and disadvantages of such a deal would be, both through the eyes of the consumer and the estate agent.   Here are the results from around 250 responses received on a survey done over a 2 day period , mostly from agents and agency owners. US trends show more buyers come from internet, less from print

What’s even more interesting is that print newspaper hardly makes an impact, a mere 3% of buyers found their home through print.
