Make your featured properties work for you

Your Entegral Flex responsive real estate website will automatically showcase all your latest listings, but as we know new listings can come in quickly and sometimes there is a certain property that just needs to be in the limelight a little longer due to its fantastic price, prime location or unique design - but how can you make this listing work even harder for you?

Firstly, if you have a responsive website you are already ahead of the curve as this allows users to view your website from any of their internet-enabled devices. You will also know that you can add a featured listing manually to ensure maximum exposure for your listing.

However, you can take it a step further - not only helping your listing to get the attention it deserves but also helping to improve your website's’ overall SEO.

The quickest and easiest way to do this is by writing a unique news post about the listing. This is a little more in-depth than the normal listing description, however. Not sure how to do this? Here are some pointers:

  • Title of the Article: Use something like “Featured Listing: Entertainer’s Dream in Krugersdorp” or “House of the Week: Family living in Stellenbosch"
  • Keywords: For SEO purposes ensure that you use words such as ‘property for sale’ or for example, ‘a family home for sale in Pretoria.’ The golden rule to remember here is to keep the content natural and to avoid keyword stuffing at all costs.
  • Headers: Create sections within your post by adding headers. For example, ‘About the Property,’ ‘Area Information’ etc
  • Photos: Add listing photos to the post to make it more appealing
  • Link: Lastly and most importantly, insert a link to the listing!
Remember to post your listing to your social media channels, whether you are doing it in the form of a pure listing post, article or virtual tour!
